Magiline technology with Magipool Panel
A pool starts with a plan for the site, its intended use, layout, depth and budget. The structure, circulation system, lighting and surrounding deck are planned together before work begins.
The pool shown here uses Magiline technology with Magipool Panel. These modular polypropylene panels act as permanent formwork: they are assembled to define the pool walls and remain in place as concrete is cast around the reinforcement. The result is a reinforced-concrete pool structure.
The photographs follow this build from groundwork and panel assembly through finishing and filling. Construction details and finishes are planned for each site and design. Learn more about Magiline’s modular structure.
01 · Groundwork and base preparation
The pool area is excavated and the base is prepared to the planned shape and levels. These photographs show workers laying brick bedding and spreading concrete to create a working base for the next stage.

02 · Assembling Magipool Panel walls
Magipool Panel units are arranged on the prepared base and assembled around the pool perimeter. The panels establish the pool outline, provide permanent formwork for the concrete walls and accommodate the planned wall fittings.

03 · Installing fittings and pipe connections
Skimmers and other wall fittings are positioned as the walls take shape. The close-up shows a skimmer body and connecting pipe installed within the Magipool Panel system, before the surrounding concrete work is completed.

04 · Reinforcement and concrete work
Steel reinforcement is placed across the pool floor, and the Magipool Panel walls are braced for concrete placement. These photographs show the reinforced floor and concrete being placed into the wall panels. The panels remain in place as part of the construction system.

05 · Interior finish, coping and deck
The pool interior is finished, with the entry steps, edge coping and surrounding deck brought together. Here the empty pool shows its blue interior, installed fittings and deck drainage before filling.

06 · Filling, checks and the finished pool
The pool is filled so the water system and installed equipment can be checked before handover. The final photograph shows the completed main pool and adjoining round pool, with the finished deck and landscaping.
